Aerospace engineering / Embry-Riddle

Zain
Ali.

Mechanical design.
Propulsion. Testing.

I’m an aerospace engineering student at Embry-Riddle. I use CAD, prototyping, and data analysis to work through design problems and understand what needs to be tested next.

Design choices.
A closer look.

UAV packaging, propulsion, model evaluation, and a new computational design study. Each case separates the contribution, calculated results, and work still to be tested.

The person behind the projects

How I approach
engineering.

I’m interested in the point where a calculation has to make sense in a physical system.

Leading student projects has given me opportunities to work through design assumptions, explain our findings, and think carefully about what should be tested next. I want to keep building that understanding alongside engineers who design, build, and evaluate real hardware.

I study in Daytona Beach and call California home. My interests include mechanical design, flight test, propulsion, and how the pieces of an aircraft work together.
